In 1999 Bill founded, The Fulcrum Group, to continue his work in
organizational development, consulting, coaching and training.
Prior to this for 10 years, Bill acted as the Senior Consulting Partner-Canada
for a global consulting and training firm. He was a member of the Strategic
Leadership team, headed up Executive Programs, developed national and global
strategic accounts, and provided expertise on project scope and structure on
larger regional contracts. He co-designed and implemented a highly acclaimed
international knowledge acquisition program and led the Internal Communication
Practice for North America.
Today, he continues to work with customer organizations in the areas of
leadership and management development, work place performance, conflict
resolution, executive and executive team development, strategy development and
strategic planning, employee involvement, teams, customer focus, sales,
organizational communication, performance management, change management,
behavioral change, interpersonal communication, implementation, sustainable
results,
He has coached and contributed to organizations in most sectors including
aerospace, education, government, finance, healthcare, manufacturing,
pharmaceutical, retail and telecommunications. His clients include Air Liquide,
Assante Finance, Bell Helicopter, Bombardier, Byk Pharmaceutical, Canadian
Imperial Bank of Commerce, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, City of Toronto, Community

Bill's professional experience includes university teaching in the area of
interpersonal and organizational communication and as past president of two of
his own successful companies. His first company was a real estate development
firm in which he acted as head of acquisitions, finance, syndication and
marketing. His second company involved training and consulting in coaching,
personal effectiveness, leadership, communication, and project management.
Corporately, he consistently achieved President's Club and President's
Advisory Council membership for his productivity and contribution to
organizational results. He is a member of the Ontario Society for Training and
Development, the American Society for Quality Control, the American
Association for Higher Education, the Council for Communication Management,
and the International Association of Business Communicators. He continues part
time University teaching and research and has received the CESAR award for
excellence in teaching. He is past chair for the children's foundation, Commit
to Kids.
He earned a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in arts, business, and
organizational communication, was a recipient of the Province of Ontario
Graduate Scholarship for the development of University Professors, and is a
graduate of the Queen's University Executive School.
